This is a quick tip I read some where and use consistently. I clean and cut up my celery into lengths that can fit easily into a tupperware after I buy it. Then I line the tupperware with aluminum foil, leaving enough on the sides to be able to fold it over the top of the celery. Seal your tupperware with its lid, and refrigerate. This may be a well known tip, but I didn't learn this until a couple of years ago and have found it very helpful.
